The edges of Loki's smile curved, so he now resembled the Grinch. "Excellent." He glanced around, then looked back at Xan. "How many monsters do you think inhabit Colorado alone?"
Jonas shook his head and held a hand up. "I've forgiven you for that, Ana." He glanced at her attire before continuing. "Now that I know the reason, I'm happy for you." He offered a small smile, but then dropped his head. He laughed and looked at her again. "Kinda interesting what the kids at camp were saying. Batman lost his Robin." That made him think of her old nickname for him, Dark Knight. That lead to another memory.
"Do you still have it?"

Vivi's head jerked to the side as she heard River's shout. She felt relieved for a moment that the campers were safe. She'd feel even more so once she saw Kyle was fine. She gestured for the group to follow we and they had to run to keep up. She just needs to know what was going on. And she still had a nagging feeling about Kyle.
Once they reached it, Viv paced, waiting for River, Kyle and the others to show up. She hated not knowing what was going on.

Xan smirked and put his hands in his pocket and looked around, whistling through his teeth. When he stopped he glanced back at the god, "Well...I wouldn't think that many since most of the American demigod population is on either coasts. Maybe ten, twenty small scale monsters. None that could bring any harm. One the camp gets here, though, I'm thinking the population will skyrocket with Norse monsters."
River ran to where he saw the camp waiting, "Everyone! The Valkyrie are on the ship with us so they too can go to America. For now, just leave them alone. Start getting ready for bed, the power will be back on by morning." The campers groaned as they turned their weapons back to mortal products as everyone shuffled away, exhausted from the stress of the day. River turned to Vivi and gestured to the deck where the Valkyrie were, "You should follow me. Kyle is beat up anf fading fast. He needs some healing, and who better to heal a reopened wound than the one who dresed it? Hurry." He lead her to where Kyle lay, unconcious, his chest rising and falling with every shaky breath.
She smiled a bit at the Batman comment. When he asked her if she still had the charm, she pulled up her sleeve slightly, revealing the woven string with the carved rock. She gave a small sigh as she remembered the moment they almost had, "Of course I still have it. I've never taken it off, it's kept me safe, kept me from feeling totally alone." She desperately wanted to feel his strong arms around her. And as she thought this, she made an off thand comment, "Your taller and more manly than last time I saw you."

Loki looked amused. "Ah, very observant, but..." He gave a quick glance to the surrounding forest. "The forests of North America have just a few less than the populated areas. Why? It's one of the only places where they aren't attacked." He looked up at the sky, as if observing for any flying beings. "The area also lacks human and demigod scent, making it easier to sniff out anyone from afar."
Jonas was some what relieved when he saw the charm. He was able to breath easier. He didn't know why, maybe it was a subconscious feeling. He laughed at her comment. "Yeah, two years can change a person." He thought back to when he was 13. He was pretty short for his age and had braces. "You've grown yourself....more beautiful..." The last part was mumbled.

Xan gave a small nod, "So in theory, it shouldn't be too hard to find either a monster or a demigod. Though I'm sure that Odin made precautions so we can't find the other two sets of camps." A sudden thought came to his head, "River knows where all three camps will be located. That's a lot of power for a Greek demigod."
Ana blushed slightly, hearing the last part due to her heightened hearing and she said, "Um...so...you know how Valkyrie are maidens? They can't date or marry or have kids." She took another step forward, now she was within an arms length of the boy she used to call her best friend. She took a deep breath and said, "Well...being who I am, a daughter of Skadi that is, it was very rare that I lived past the age of 10, which is when Odin usually looks to girls with promising Valkyrie traits. He was desperate to get me on the Valkyrie, so I made a few conditions on which I would join." Gods, just stop talking! He's not going to care! You left him, he probably moved on! She shut out the voice in her head, the voice of a true Valkyrie huntress, and took another step toward Jonas. She was only a few inches away now.
She looked up into his brown eyes, the moonlight reflecting off her own amber eyes as she said, "One: I can go back to Camp Norse during the summers, if I want. Two: I won't be taken away from camp until I turn 15, and three," she laughed a bit, a light and somewhat sad laugh, "Three: I am not bound to be a maiden, I can date, get married, have kids...he agreed and he said when the time came, we'd figure out the issue of dating. I honestly thought we'd be dealing with it the day you gave me this," she raised her arm and pointed to the charm, but her eyes never left his, "But...we got a rain check instead, Batman."

Vivi listened and then sheathed her sword. She turned to River expectantly, waiting for him to tell her where Kyle was. Her eyes widened in fear and she sprinted as she followed him, ordering a camper to bring her bandages as she did so. She knelt quickly by him, wasting no time as she took a look at the wound. It was bad but she could take care of it.
She silently took the supplies that were brought to her and gently cleaned it, tryin to work quickly but carefully. She redressed it, pulling the bandages tight. He tol her not to worry, but how could she not? Every time he left her sight, he got injured in one way or another it seemed. She finished and sat back, brushing a strand of hair out of his eyes in affection.

River glanced back up at the control tower wondering what Ana was doing. He just shook his head and sat down in a chair beside Kyle, seems like he ha near death experiences every day. Kyle stirred slight and his eyelashes fluttered open to reveal his crystal blue gaze. He glanced around and smirked at Vivi, "I told you I wouldn't do anything too stupid." Truth was, had Vivi not gotten there, Kyle wouldn't have died. One of the perks of being the camp's guardian hero was being able to live through wounds like these until his mission was fulfilled. Yes, the pain would be immense until it scanned or healed, but he wouldn't have died. He would have just laid there unmoving for several hours as his body fixed itself.

Relief filled her eyes when his opened and Vivi shook her head at him and smiled before kissing him lightly on the forehead. She sat back on her heels as she glanced around.

(Found some free time!)
Kyle smirked and set his head back in relaxation before he heard a cough from his right, Lea was still there. The huntress gave a growl, "You want to introduce me?" Kyle hesitated a moment before he sat up again and sighed, "Lea, this is Vivian, my girlfriend. Vivs, this is Lea, the reason I have this." He gestured to the wound Vivi had bandaged when they first boarded the ship. Lea rolled her eyes, "I am not the reason you have that. Odin told us not to let you back to Asgard, that's not our fault."
Kyle just smirked and then rolled his head back over to Vivi and gave a charming smile, before mouthing 'she is totally the reason.' He grabbed his girlfriend's hand, happy that he could keep a light mood between himself, Vivi, and Lea; the last thing he wanted was tension.
River rolled his eyes and stood from his chair and walked over to the railing of the ship and looked down into the water. His curious gaze rested on some water nymphs floating along side the boat, guiding it. He smiled, his father was aiding the journey, or at least one of the two parts of his father's Norse equivalent was. He closed his eyes and muttered, "42, -50. We're a little too close to home...I think we'll dock Miami and continue from there...hopefully this thing has enough Mist around it to make it look like a giant military plane..." He shook his head with a smile and leaned on the rail, watching the nymphs carry the ship at an accelerated pace that would be unnoticed by the demigods on board.
Nick jogged over to Kyle and glanced at Vivi before, "I thought I should let you know, cause I can't find Ethan, Xan is kinda...well he's..." Nick took a deep breath and then said, "Xan is not on the ship anymore. He hasn't been seen since you went and talked to him."

Jonas nodded, looking down. He sighed. "How...long will you be with us?" It sounded harsher than he had planned it to be and winced at the question.
Ethan came storming down the deck, face a set expression of anger. "Uh, yeah. I can't find Xan anywhere." He ran a hand through his platinum blond hair. "Dammit!"

Ana's eyes filled with a sudden sadness but just as quickly as it came, it was gone. She stepped a few paces back and took on a more professional attitude, the one she carried with her as the lead huntress of the Valkryie. She sighed and just as her posture and aura had changed, her voice had also become hard and stern, "We've been asked to help the camp unload and get back to normal as soon as possible. We'll be leaving within a month's time. Is that all?" The young huntress gave an almost inaudible sigh, she was hoping he would have... Stop. It's been two years. He doesn't love you, and he won't ever again. You'd have better luck with that River kid. But none of this matters. You are a daughter of Skadi, you are born to be a huntress, a Valkryie. Not some boy's romantic interest. She shook her head slightly, her brown hair falling into her face as the slightest trace of tears began to form.
Kyle gave a slight growl and was about to jump up before he stopped himself. He clenched his fist and spoke through gritted teeth, "Does ANYONE have any idea or guess or even slight feeling of where he might've gone? Because there's not very many places to go when your in the middle of an ocean!"

Vivi's eyes sharpened and she glanced at Kyle before responding. "You're absolutely sure he's not on the ship anymore? This place is pretty big. He could be hiding in some corner." She thought a moment. "If he's not on ship, there's only two probable explanations because I seriously doubt he jumped in a lifeboat and took off. Kyle, do you know if he can shadow travel or...use some other method to travel someplace else? Because if he doesn't...he had help."

"Only a month?" He asked, like a toddler, unsure if it was fit to ask the question. You could hear the sadness leaking out of his voice in those three words.
Ethan frowned. "Help? Who would help him off the ship? The Valkryie wouldn't help him and another camper wouldn't either."

Ana gave a nod and wiped the beginnings of her tears away and said, "Unless we are given reason to stay, my huntresses and I must go to Asgard and assist Odin in relocating and unpacking. At least my huntresses must. If the camp requires my services, but not the whole Valkyrie's, Lea can lead them until I am not needed here."
Kyle pressed his hand to his temple and said, "No, no. They wouldn't help him. And he doesn't have any powers like that. All he's got is the mind reading thing that I've got. But he doesn't need powers he's a trickster comparable to Loki..." he stopped and closed his eyes in realization, "Shit. You don't think?"
Shawna ran up and glanced a Kyle before saying, "Nick, Ethan, Vivi, we can't find him. We checked and double checked and even had some of the sea demigods try to sense his presence on the ship. He's not here." She glanced around for Tony, wondering sure he went off to.

Vivi thought about Kyle's comment for a moment, then glanced at Shawna as she ran up. "If he's not on ship, he doesn't have the power to get himself off, and the Valkryie nor the campers would have helped him, then..." She hesitated. "He might have gotten off with Loki. Who knows what's going through his mind right now?"
