Anabelle pulled away too when she heard the person, a half smile on her face as she listened. She was faintly amused by the kid's embarrassment, half pitying him as he looked like he'd rather have been anywhere else.
She gave a small laugh. "Productive would probably be the better choice, but at the very least the room so we aren't interrupted." She replied with a grin and hopped off the bed.

Cory chuckled and turned his body so his feet were dangling off the edge and he blushed slightly realizing he was only in boxers and a wife-beater shirt. He wrapped the sheets around his lower half and said, "Mind if I change? Just...don't look over here."
He glanced around for a second before spotting some of his old clothes in a heap on the ground next to the cot. He grabbed them and pulled on the cargo shorts and then he lifted his left arm above his head to put on his faded Camp Half-Blood t-shirt but he winced and immediately brought his free arm to his chest where a searing hot pain had pierced his chest. He muttered to himself, "Take it easy. You are still recovering."
He took it slower and slipped the shirt on, the lettering of 'Camp Half-Blood' almost faded to nothing. He pulled out his crystal shard from his pocket and gripped it as it morphed into his sword. He stuck the sword into the sheath around his waist and pulled some light, leather armor around his torso. He turned around and walked toward Anabelle, and grabbed her by the waist, hugging her from behind and started backing up, his girlfriend still in his arms and chuckled into her neck, "I want to show you my favorite parts of this place."
***
Logan raised an arm and the arguing quieted into nothing, "Okay, that is enough! Gina and I have agreed that Cohorts 1 and 3 will be on the defense; 2, 4, and 5 will be offense, understood?" Mumbling throughout the Senate house showed their agreement. Logan smiled and said, "Good. Now, onto different matters, one of our centurions-" The praetor stopped cold when he saw who entered the Senate house. Aaron looked up to the praetors and knelt and said, "I'm sorry for interrupting, and I'm sorry for being late but we have a problem, we have a new arrival." Gina had an angry look on her face and her arms were crossed but Logan looked dumbfounded. The centurions, especially the older ones started mumbling to each other. Bianca gave a small wave and said, "I'm Bianca Waverly, Daughter of Pluto." There was suddenly an enraged outbreak between centurions of who gets her in their Cohort, and what was she doing here. Aaron just stood where he was, his face slightly red, Gina was trying to quiet everyone down and Logan was staring at Bianca.
The son of Neptune stood up and left the Senate House in the direction of the bath house without a second glance. Aaron watched him leave and then blew up, "Everybody shut up!" The centurions instantly stopped what they were doing, thinking it was Logan who had spoken and when they realized it was Aaron the started to stand and leave but Aaron spoke again, "Is this really something you all need to yell at each other for? No. It's really not. So let's figure this out. I'm the youngest child of Pluto, you'd think I'd know about having an older sister that isn't Hazel. So, she'll stay in New Rome as a guest rather than in a Cohort as a soldier. Until we figure this out, that is what is going to happen."
Gina glared down at Aaron and said, "You are not a praetor here, Aaron Pontius. You do not make the decisions. Now everyone sit down and be quiet. The Daughter of Pluto will stay with Logan or I so we can keep an eye on her. She will be part of a Cohort and that Cohort will be the Fifth, however she will not participate in the War Games tomorrow." Aaron glared at Gina and sat down next to Sarah, the centurion from earlier and she squeezed Aaron's hand reassuringly.
Logan walked back in, his face pale and said, "Centurions, tomorrow we will have two visitors, they will be wearing Orange T-shirts. Send them to my quarters if you see them. Bianca, you will be staying with me. Gina, finish the meeting without me. I have a lot to discuss with our newcomer." Logan gestured for Bianca and lead her out of the Senate house.
Aaron watched them go and then watched Gina, but he tuned out most of the rest of the meeting due to his over active brain. Who were the visitors? Why are they coming? What is Logan going to talk to Bianca about? Who keeps saying my name? The Son of Pluto shook his head and then looked to his left where Sarah was sitting, trying to get his attention. The meeting was over and they were the only two left in the Senate house. She looked at him concerned before she stood and lead him back to the Cohorts, saying something about resting. But Aaron couldn't focus, not with knowing that he had a new sibling.

Anabelle gave a half laugh. "Not at all." She turned around and waited for him to finish, tucking back a few loose strands of her hair that had fallen into her eyes. A smile lit up her face as Cory hugged her from behind. She loved it when he did that. She shifted in his arms so she was facing him and out her arms around his neck. "I'd love to see them." She replied with a smile.

The son of Nyx gave a big grin and then kissed Anabelle on the nose, "That's for being such a great girlfriend." He smiled and then ducked his head under her arms and took a step back, checking her out for a second before holding out his hand for her to grab, "First thing's first, let's get you some clothes, your's look like they've been to Tartarus and back. No offense...although that's probably more my doing than your's."
He started toward the door and when he stepped outside with his favorite person in the world, he blinked a few times and grumbled, "Woah...its bright out here." He shook his head then dragged Anabelle along the streets of the Roman Cohorts towards New Rome. When they came to the border of the town, he took off his weapons and set them down by a marble bust of the god Terminus and laughed slightly when the bust started to speak.
"Well hello Cory Jason. It has been a while. Who is your friend? If she has weapons, she better get rid of them!" Cory gripped Anabelle's hand tighter and said, "Terminus, Anabelle. Anabelle, this is Terminus, New Rome's godly protection. You might want to put your weapon next to mine if you don't want to be slapped."

Anabelle smiled, then laughed. "None taken." She replied, actually looking down at what she was wearing. "Worse than i realized...fresh ones are probably a good idea." She hadn't paid much attention to the state her clothes were in, but getting some clean ones suddenly sounded like a really good idea.
She followed him, blinking a few times in the bright light and nodding in agreement. She looked slightly surprised when the bust spoke. "Yeah, I'd rather not be." She removed her sword and dagger and laid them down next to Cory's.

The bust nodded, "Good, now, no fighting in New Rome. Have a good day."
At that Cory smirked and lead Anabelle down the streets to the Forum of New Rome, "So, do you want just some typical clothes? Like shorts and a t-shirt, or do you want something else?" The young demigod looked around at the small shops excitedly, it'd been a while since he'd been in New Rome just for fun. He grinned widely at Anabelle and said, "Oh, and I know this great hot chocolate place that Percy told me about when I first left Camp. Speaking of which, I wonder if Logan has contacted Camp Half-Blood yet to let them know we're here and safe."
"You can bet he did. He's praetor for the gods' sake Cory! And it wasn't just anyone that showed up here. It was you." Cory spun around in surprise only to be met with the sight of Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase standing in front of him wearing orange Camp Half-Blood shirts. Without really thinking, he let go of Anabelle's hand and ran up to them and gave them both a hug. Annabeth smiled and returned the hug while Percy just chuckled and gave him a pat on the back.
"Holy Hades! What are you two doing here?" Cory snapped back into his senses and then stepped back to his girlfriend, wrapping his arm around her waist "First thing's first. Annabeth, you know her, but Percy, this is Anabelle, my girlfriend."
*** (In Logan's room)
Bianca walked around the small apartment area and looked at all the pictures hanging on the walls and shelves. She snorted slightly in amusement before she walked over to the land-line and dialed in a phone number. After a few rings a voice rung in her ear, "Hey babe, I'm assuming you got in alright. Stirred up some trouble in the Senate?" Bianca laughed slightly, "You give me less credit than what I do. I've definitely got one of the praetors spooked and really confused. The senate and the centurions are all arguing over who gets me in their Cohort. I'm staying in the praetor's apartment until further notice." A small growl was heard as Erik Pontius replied, "Logan recognizes you. He's too close to Percy Jackson. I can bet he's already contacted the Greek camp about your arrival. Keep a low profile and if they ask you anything-" "Please, Erik, I know the drill. If they ask anything just tell them the cover story. I know, I know. Don't get your panties in a twist." Erik chuckled and said, "Alright, alright. Just stick to the plan. Aaron will be ours soon enough. My brother doesn't stand a chance against you. I gotta go. Talk to you soon babe." The line went dead and Bianca rolled her eyes and put the phone back down and turned around to see Logan in the the doorway of the bathroom, shirtless, his blonde hair still wet from a shower. His eyes were cold as he said, "And who would you be contacting at this hour?"
Bianca smirked and said, "That would be my mom. She's the one that told me everything. She just wanted me to call her when I got here. Now, shouldn't you cover yourself up, Mr. Praetor? I'm a guest not one of your girlfriends."
Logan scowled and said, "Hey, this is my house. Just because you're here doesn't mean I've got to do anything different. But whatever." He grabbed a purple Camp Jupiter shirt and pulled it on. "Anyways. I've go to lay down some rules. You get the guest bedroom. Curfew is nine, and you have to tell me where your going and with who. Same goes for calls. This is all just until some stuff gets sorted out."
The child of 'Pluto' smirked again and hurried past Logan, brushing his hand as she went and said, "Please, I'm not 10 years old. I'm not going to be stupid. Besides, I should get familiar with this place if I'm going to be staying here a while. I'm going to go check out the shops. Be back in an hour oh great and wise praetor." She grabbed her sandals, giving Logan one last smirk before heading out the door.
Logan gave a large sigh and sat down on his couch, "Gods I hope she isn't who I think she is. That would just make everything so much freaking harder for me. Let's just get through today and see what happens when Percy and Annabeth get here. They'll know what to do." He shook his head and turned on the TV and put his hands behind his head to relax.
Bianca agilely and silently went down the steps and found herself on a street outside Logan's room. She smiled to herself and headed in the direction of the Cohorts, opposite of where she told Logan. She crossed the boundary of New Rome and headed to the training areas in search of her Cohort. Weather or not they liked it, Bianca was definitely participating in the War Games.

"Shorts and a t-shirt would be great." Anabelle replied, half distracted by the scenery. It was so different from camp. Cory clearly loved it here and she was starting to see why. She smiled. "Mmm, that sounds good." She kept looking around her, taking it all in. She felt relaxed, being here with Cory and she loved it. There was yet any other place in the world she would have preferred to be.
She turned around when Cory did, thinking the voice sounded faintly familiar. She gave a smile and then looked at Percy for a moment. "Haven't we met before? You were at camp that one time, Aaron was helping me brush up on my fighting skills? Not sure you were around Cory." She asked.
(If I'm remembering wrong, just pretend she said hello or something xD)

Percy grinned and said, "Cory, I've already met her. Yeah, I think it was after you woke up from that spell thing that girl Ivy put you under and you needed help remembering your fighting. I told Aaron to leave it to me and we practiced. I've been back and forth from camp to camp for a while since then," his tone darkened a bit, "lots of power has been stirred up since then."
Annabeth gave Percy a nudge and said, "They've got their own problems to worry about Perce, we don't need to tell them about ours. Come on, you said you needed some clothes Anabelle? Why don't we let these two have their little bromance and you and I can get you some better things to wear? It'll be just us, sister to sister."
Percy just rolled his eyes at his girlfriend then looked at Cory when the son of Nyx started to speak, "But, I was going to take Anabelle to see all the stuff around here."
"They'll be plenty of time for that later, this place is more beautiful when it's evening anyways! Now run along you two." She playfully pushed Cory towards Percy and grabbed Anabelle's arm and started heading to the Forum when the then glanced over her shoulder and said, "Oh and Percy?"
The Son of Poseidon turned his head from looking at the Cohorts, "Yeah?"
"Keep an eye out, and I'll do the same."
Cory's dark eyes narrowed but he didn't ask questions. He and Percy waved goodbye to their girlfriends and headed down to the training areas. As soon as they were out of earshot from the girls, Cory turned to Percy, "Okay Percy, you need to tell me what all this talk about power stirring is about. Like, now."
Annabeth smiled at her half-sister, an excited glint in her eye and said, "So what do you want to do first? There's the architecture, the different battle formations, the library. There so many things to do here. "
***
Bianca headed to the large group of kids standing in line to fight some boy. She smirked and rolled her eyes before she got in line as well. She was next in line and when the boy in front of her lost she smirked and walked up to the armored legionnaire with nothing but a small sword.
The boy chuckled and said, "That's it? You think that you can beat me with just a tiny sword, while everyone else was fully armored and have trained here for ages?"
Bianca rolled her eyes, "Are you all talk or do you actually fight?"
The soldier grunted and charged at Bianca. She waited, not moving an inch as he came closer and closer. The others in line thought she was a goner. But at the last second, she sidestepped and sent the boy barreling into a marble column, leaving him out cold. Everyone gaped for a moment then cheered for Bianca. One girl came up to here an explained.
"You see, no one has been able to beat Mason all week! Everyone but the centurions tried, and in my opinion, I think the centurions were too scared to fight him. They were afraid of being shown up. But you just walk in and don't even lay a finger on him! That's just...wow. Oh I'm Kathy by the way!."
"Bianca. Hey, where can I get some actual armor and weapons around here? I need some for the War Games."
"I could help you with that! You must be new, so follow me and I'll give you the tour!"

Anabelle smiled and nodded. "Sounds good to me." An afternoon with Annabeth sounded great and then she could find Cory later and be all his for the evening. Who didn't love an evening walk with their boyfriend? Unless of course, there was something bigger to deal with, which was the feeling she was getting from the conversation. But she put thoughts of that aside. She didn't want to be left in the dark about something big, but she would just ask Cory later, or tomorrow and see what he said.
She gave them a quick wave goodbye, then turned back to her half-sister, as excited as she seemed to be. She wasn't always at camp and it wasn't everyday she got an afternoon with someone who had similar interests as hers. "Yeah, sounds like it. Oh gosh," She said as she thought a moment and looked around, trying to decide. "Well, some fresh clothes first would be great and then...oh, surprise me. You know this place way better than I do." She said finally with a grin.

Cory gave Percy a long stare as the demigods sat down on a hill overlooking New Rome. It was obvious Percy was thinking about what he was going to say to his friend, but it was also just as obvious that Cory was getting impatient. So Percy turned to the Son of Nyx and said,
"Dark things have been reawakened ever since your trip to Greece about a year ago. I didn't realize how bad it'd gotten until I had a dream. In it, I was standing on Olympus, looking down over the two camps. Camp Jupiter was covered in a black dome and Camp Half-Blood was perfectly fine. From there I was shown Camp Jupiter up close. In it was a man about my age standing over a body. And I knew who that body was. It was Bianca D'Angelo."
Cory sharply breathed in. Percy had once told him about Bianca D'Angelo and how she met her demise on one of his quests. He knew how Percy felt about it all and knew not to bring it up. Obviously the gods didn't care. He put his hand on Percy shoulder and said, "Go on. I need to know as much as I can."
Percy dipped his head between his knees, his hair covering his eyes as he continued, "And the man...he reached down and picked her up, and suddenly she was alive again. She was my age and the man started talking to her explaining how the gods had betrayed her and sent her on a hopeless quest. He...he sounded so much like Luke when he was bad that it was scary. And the worst part was that Bianca seemed totally oblivious to his lies. The man told her to give up her oath to Artemis, as the goddess had betrayed her, and Bianca did as she was told. Then the man took Bianca's hand and held her close to him before they just vanished. And not far from where they stood was none other than your old friend M the Seer. He hasn't been a problem for years, and now he's out an about and that man has found a way to bring back the dead. Not to mention River's quest with the Norse coming here, and that means more monsters. Whatever is happening is not good Cory, and I think it's got to do with the ancient power you brought back to Greece with you."
When Percy stopped, Cory didn't speak for a bit, soaking in all of what Percy just told him. After a few moments Cory finally responded, "M became a problem when I came back, yes. But he's always been a problem one way or another. I've always been able to handle him, and I still can-"
"Hades, Cory! Seeker almost killed you a few days ago! I don't think that's called handling. You can't do this all alone, because if you loose control you will die. You can't just think about yourself Cory, think about what it would do to the rest of your friends? To me and Annabeth, to both Camps...to Anabelle."
Cory gave a frustrated sigh and ran a hand through his almost too long dirty-blonde hair, "I know, I know. But I've managed to find a curse to keep him away from Anabelle, so now I can focus on getting him. I know that if I loose control, it could mean the end. Which is why I need you to promise me something."
Percy looked hesitant as he said, "If I think it's a good choice...sure."
"If I loose control and can't get it back, you need to kill me. When you do, you need to tell Anabelle that if you didn't, the world and the gods and perhaps all the universe would go into a total collapse. You know what my father's power can do Percy. You know this is what needs to be done."
Darkness again fell across Percy's face and he said, "I've always been known and I always will be known as the savior of Olympus. The one who made the choice to preserve or raze the era of the gods. The world's fate seems to always revolve around my choices. Cory, I can't promise you anything, and I would never willingly kill my friend." After a long pause Percy changed the subject, "Logan called me here about a new camper they've got. He thinks it might be Bianca. That means the man is already four steps ahead."
Cory's thoughts grew grim and his voice cracked a bit as he said, "I think I know who this guy might be. Erik Pontius. All he's ever wanted was his brother's death, but now...I think it's bigger than that."
***
Annabeth gave a big smile and said, "Then we should stop at 'Cohort Clothing'. It's a simple clothing shop for the members of the Cohort to buy their clothes at. Mostly jeans, t-shirts, sweatshirts. Stuff like that." She opened the door and smiled, grabbing some jean shorts and a purple SPQR shirt that looked like they'd fit Anabelle and handed them to her, "Dressing room's in the back, tell me if they fit and then we'll get you fitted for armor."

Anabelle nodded. "Sounds great." She followed Annabeth in the door, and took the clothes she handed her. "Ok, thanks." She replied, and went over to a dressing room and disappeared into it. She slipped out of her now dirty and ripped jeans and t-shirt, glad to get them off. She put the clothes on Annabeth had given her, sliding into them easily. She turned around once and was glad they fit well. She left the dressing room and went back to Annabeth. "They fit perfectly." She said.

(you can play the girl Bianca talked to in the earlier post if you want to do more than just Anabelle...this is all going really slow. Do you know what happened to Cody? Is he just really busy with school and stuff?)
Annabeth turned to look at her half-sister and grinned, "You look so much better with real clothes....gods I sound like Aphrodite's kids. It's just..." she put her hands on Anabelle's shoulders and then brought her into a rough hug, "Cory's like my little brother. I really love that you and Cory are together. I remember the day I first met him and he was a mess. When he left I was scared I'd never see him again. Now...to see him so much better off and dating one of my sisters...it's just amazing how much his life has been turned around. It's all thanks to you, I'm sure. I can't thank you enough." She pulled out of the hug and wiped away a tear that had formed and regained her composure, "Right, next up is armor. My guess is that you'll be staying here for a while, so you're gonna need to train. Romans have got way different styles of fighting, they believe the best defense if offense, so it means you're gonna need to be protected. My friend Alistair can help you get fitted. And here he is now."
Annabeth grinned as a short ('bout 5' 2''), fit guy with dark hair came up and gave Annabeth a big bear hug, "Annie! Looking gorgeous as always!" Annabeth just rolled her eyes, "Yeah, yeah. Go hit on someone else will ya?" Alistair chuckled and let go of her, grinning from ear to ear, "Aw, but it's so fun, especially with Percy here! Speaking of which, where is my good buddy Jackson?" Annabeth smirked, "Training. Now come on and help me fit my sister. Anabelle, this is Alistair, son of Somnus. Hypnos to us. He was injured in the Giant war and retired early now-" Alistair took on a grim expression as he finished Annabeth's thoughts, "And now I serve the Legion by creating and fitting armor with the help of some of Vulcan's legacies. It's the best I can do. Enough with the sob stories though! Let's get you ready for battle! Would you please step up onto this stool? I need to do shoes first."
***
Percy ran a hand through his hair and then said, "So...Erik Pontius. He was that guy from the League, yeah? He's trouble even if he's not of godly decent. But where did he get powers?"
Cory shrugged, "Beats me, but he's had them ever since you and I first met. He cursed my blade. He got them from someone powerful, only someone with godly powers could give a mortal powers like that. I'm not pointing fingers at the gods, but maybe one of their enemies? The Titans, the Giants? Anyone?"
Percy sighed, "I have no idea. I'm going to look into it when I get back to Camp. For now I just need to find Logan and talk to him. Until Annabeth gets back, though, I can't do that. So for now, we should go and see if we can do anything down by the Cohorts. Maybe the Fifth would be up for us joining in their training."
Cory shrugged, "Maybe. But we can't avoid all this stuff forever Percy, you know that better than I do."
Percy gave a nod and stood, "Yeah, yeah. But can we at least enjoy ourselves for a bit before there's another apocalypse? The gods never give us a chance to have any fun. It's prophecy after prophecy of foretold doom. I just want to live a normal life with my girlfriend."
Cory chuckled, "No, we can't. We're demigods...Hey, speaking of living a normal life with your girlfriend, when are you going to pop the question to Annabeth?"
Percy froze and turned to Cory, blushing furiously, "T-that's...uhm...er...gods, I don't know!" Cory just shrugged and walked away with a smirk on his face, "Don't sweat it Jackson, we all know she'll say yes. There's no rush, I was only wondering." Percy muttered a few curse words under his breath before following Cory toward the Fifth Cohort.

(Sure. Where do you want to pick up with her? And I think so. Haven't heard much)
Anabelle laughed. "I feel so much better with real clothes on." It was a relief to have her old ones off and a clean set on. She hugged Anabelle back and her eyes gotta slightly far away look as she responded. "You know, I'd never really been interested in dating before Cory. Then he came along, and well...that was that. There was just something about him. I got lucky. I couldn't ask for a better boyfriend. And trust me, there's no thank you needed. He's done just as much for me." Her eyes focused back in and she straightened up. "Great. Ah, then I'll probably need to brush up on my offense skills. I usually keep the two somewhat balanced."
She turned as Alistair arrived. She half smiled, half chuckled in amusement at him before giving a friendly nod in greeting. "Sounds good to me." She stepped up on the stool at his request with her arms loose by her sides, and in a still position.
(Sorry that took so long. Will try to have the next one up sooner. My schedule will quiet down soon thankfully xD)

(So the person is Kathy. She's not a centurion but she's been here a while. Bianca and her are heading to where Annabeth and Anabelle are, but they are just making conversation and Kathy is pointing things out to Bianca as they make their way from the training areas to the forum. You can just make up her godly parent.)
Bianca gave a small nod and followed Kathy back towards New Rome. She glanced around and said, "So, how long have you been training here and who's your godly parent?"
***
Alistair took a knee and took out a magical measuring device and it looped itself around Anabelle's shoe. It seemed to be doing it's own thing so Alistair started up conversation, "So, Anabelle, how long have you known who your godly parent was? I've known since I was 16, so 6 years for me. And before you say it, yes I actually am 22, I'm just short."
Annabeth chuckled and said, "You've also got a bit of a kid's face." Alistair snorted in annoyance and said, "Yeah well, all the ladies seem to dig it!" Annabeth rolled her eyes and turned back to Anabelle and whispered with a mischievous gleam in her eye, "Or so he says." The measuring tape started to glow and Alistair smoothly took it off of the shoe and wrote down some numbers. He held it up to Anabelle's hips and it unraveled to the ground then wrapped itself around her waist. Alistair glanced slightly at it and wrote down some more measurements. He then started reaching up to Anabelle's shoulders but he blushed when he couldn't reach and said, "Er...could you step down from the stool?" Annabeth was trying to keep a straight face but she let a few small chuckles escape, earning her an angry look from Alistair.
***
Percy lead Cory past some legionaries who patted Percy on the back in a hello and gave a small nod to Cory. Soon they came to a group huddled around a broken column and Percy spoke, "I wonder what that is about, usually they've got some one on one sword combat going on over here..."
The two approached the scene to see a few campers helping a person in armor up and towards the infirmary. Cory spoke first, "Hey, what's going on over here? What happened?" A couple of people glanced at him but didn't answer as they continued speaking among themselves. Percy stepped forward and said in a slightly commanding voice, "Someone tell me what happened over here." Right away, people turned to Percy and fixed their posture and armor and began to speak all at once. Cory heard phrases like "Newbie got him..." and "She had no weapon." Cory pieced together the story, someone new had come and beat one of the undefeated people of the week by not even touching them, they just side stepped so quickly that no one saw it coming and Mason ran into the column and got knocked out. Cory glanced at Percy who had narrow eyes and tried to quiet everyone down, but he'd started a commotion and other people from nearby started to come over and see what the big deal was. It started getting louder as the story spread and more people came. Cory couldn't even hear his own thoughts and Percy was trying to shout above the crowd to some people about where she went. Cory tried quieting some people down but they wouldn't listen to him, which was weird for Cory, usually people listened to him because his skills. He got more and more frustrated as the commotion continued. He felt his ears pop and a flash happened somewhere and he was momentarily blinded. When his vision returned he heard everyone silent. They were all gaping at him, including Percy.
"What? What happened?" Cory glanced around and noticed for the first time that a darkness had fallen over the training area. The lanterns had all gone out and all that was lighting the sky was the darkening sunset over the hills. Percy had started shooing campers away and back to training as Cory stared around the area dumbfounded.
Percy was talking to a small group of senior campers and said, "Get those lanterns re-lit and just keep the gossip down, alright? Get everything back to normal. I'll be back with Logan and Gina later to check up on some stuff. You said the new girl went with Kathy to get fitted and a weapon? Alright, thanks." He turned back to Cory and grabbed his shoulder and started pulling him back to town.
Cory opened his mouth to speak but Percy cut him off, "This is what I was talking about earlier Cory, you need to get some self control! You made those lights go out because you yelled 'stop.' Well...more like screamed it. We just need to get back to the girls so you can have a nice, calm evening with your girlfriend and just chill that anger bubble a bit."
"I...I lost control? I didn't even hear myself yell! My ears popped and everything flashed for a second...but yeah, I think your right. I just need to get away from this madness for a bit. But I need to find Robin before curfew."
Percy just shook his head as they started walking quickly over the hill towards New Rome, "Not tonight. You need to be away from your duties for a bit and just enjoy being Cory, Anabelle's boyfriend, for a while. You've just been overly stressed lately and it's getting to your control. Next time we might not be so lucky in the extend that you lose your cool."

"Daughter of Vulcan." Kathy replied. "A few years now. Around three or four I think. You?"

Anabelle thought a moment. "Two, close to three, I think. I found out when I was 13." She gave a shake of her head. "Seems like it's been a lot longer than that. Time does fly."
She laughed. "Well, I'm not exactly really tall either." She watched the measuring tape as it wrapped around her, keeping still as it did so. She chuckled at Annabeth's comment. He did look a lot younger than 22, her initial guess would have been closer to her own age.
She stepped down at his request, and restrained herself from chuckling too after the look he gave Annabeth, though her eyes were laughing good-naturedly.
