Liam raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

"Well for one I'm a huntress", Terra started out, her strides even and silent, "I follow the goddess Artemis and am stricktly forbidden to fall in love with a boy. Another part is that I'm immortal unless killed in battle. The rest of the hunters and I are constantly on the move searching for new monsters to kill." She paused for a few seconds, "do you understand?"

"But...why are you away from them?" Liam's blue eyes were full of inocence.

Terra eyed him thoughtfully, "Artemis sent me here to find someone and to take him or her to where they belong. My guessing it was you I was suposed to meet and I'm suposed to take you to camp halfblood. knowing how Artemis does things I'll probably be part of one of the camp's prophecies."

Liam raised yet another eyebrow. "What's a prophecy?" He was overwhelmed with all this talk of gods, and magic.

Terra suppressed a sigh, "a prophecy is a riddle, telling us about the future as it unfolds. It may have to do with sudden disapearences or of a war yet to come. They're usually given by the spirit of Delphi a prophetess chosen by the sun god Apollo." She shruged, "Other that that there's not much to explain." She stoped and looked around. Looking for the best route to take. Terra took a long breath then whistled. It was quiet but the sensative ears of her wolf would pick it up from even far distences. "We should rest hear for a little while. She should be here soon."

Liam's eyes narrowed. "This world is weird." He took out his pocket knife, keeping it at knife mode and whittled a stick. He wanted to learn more about this girl. He wasn't sure whether to trust her or not. He chucked the stick as far as he could and ran his small, nimble fingers through his short, blond hair. "So, uh. How old are you? Where ya from?"

Terra chuckled at his remark, "I'm six-teen", she sat down and leaned against a tree. She flinched as the memory of her father came back to her. Always abusing her or finding some way to blame her for his troubles, "where I'm from doesn't really matter. I mean I've been nearly everywhere."

"I'm from Arizona. I grew up in an orphanage. I...nevermind." Bad memories came flooding back to him. A small, cold gust of wind came by, while he thought of them.

Terra heard a howl break through the wind then a silver wolf burst through the undergrowth. It instantly looked at Liam who was still holding his switch blade and began to growl. "No he's a friend", she told the wolf, "I need you to find us the quickest route to Camp half-blood. Can you do that?" The wolf shook herself as if she weren't happy with the idea but was agreeing to it any way then turned gave a couple of quick sniffs then went into the undergrowth. Terra looked at Liam, "We'll have to hurry she won't wait."

"Okay." As soon as he stood up, the wind stopped.

Terra followed her wolf, listening to her rythimic pant. She looked at Liam. "So do you have any idea who your godly parent is?"

Liam shrugged. "I have no clue. Never knew my 'mortal' parent."

Terra shruged, "It doesn't really matter. Your godly parent will claim you when your ready." She watched him out of the corner of her eye. She had her suspicions.

Oliver was gliding across the sky. He noticed two figures on the ground below and decided to check in out. He landed in front of them, flapping his big, black wings. He might've scared them, or shocked them a bit. His gold eyes locked on them. "Hello, demigods." He greeted.
