It was a perfect day, except for the fact that a platoon of Laistrygonian giants armed with everything from brawn swords to crossbows was approaching the camp. These ones were different from the average kind, as they were smarter and could only be hurt in one place, which explains why Peleus was having such a hard time keeping them under control.

Akito heard stomps in the distance. He turned and far away, he could see an army of Laistrygonian giants approaching Camp Half-Blood, and they were armed. He quickly got up and half ran to the Big House. "Laistrygonian giants approaching." He said when he opened the door to Chiron and Mr. D playing a game of pinocle. (Or however you spell it.) Chiron (galloped or cantered) outside to the hill. When he saw the army, he drew out his horn and blew into it. Campers came up to him, wondering what was going on. The centaur informed them about the giants and told them to arm up quickly and get their weapons.

When Seth Raven came out and saw the giants coming, he remembered a rumor about a shadow-like...being who was planning to destroy the camp. What if it's him ordering them over here?, he thought. Thought for a minute, remembered something about the shadow, Collin, Jerez, and Navaz in the Hermes cabin, and decided he'd better I.M. one of them. (Continued in "The Creek".)

A truck drove by and Skyler jumped off, still bleeding from a run in with Cancer(the giant crab). Failed a mission. It should've been simple. Even got beat by a crab. But at least things can't get any.... Then he saw the giants. There is NO WAY my luck is that bad! Eventually, he got up the strength to create a ball of electricity and fire it at one. He was shocked that it barely even stumbled.
(Ugh, I'm bad at this.)
