"Alright Jerez, Valerie, on my mark you guys start your fight." He looked at them for a moment then said, "GO!" Looks at the Apollo campers, "Watch closely Apollo kids, they are both great at fighting." He said with a slight chuckle.

When River said go Valerie took action.Before Jerez knew what was happening Valerie cut him in the face, de-armed him, and got him on the ground with her sword at his throat in 5 seconds flat. "Another round or show them how to de-arm their opponent." Valerie laughed.

Jerez's skin turned pale, his eyes black, the world turned silent, his cut disappeared, and he sunk into the his own shadow.
The Apollo cabin looked in awe but Jerez was nowhere in site.
"I don't think another round is necessary," Jerez's voice echoed round the arena, "and nobody make a fool of the son of Hades"
Jerez bursted out of the ground with a shadow explosion underneath him, then unexpectedly he struck Valerie, knocking off her armor, and her sword out of her hand.

"Jerez!" He said yelling, "From now on no power usage! Understand? Round 1 continue!"

Jerez shrugged and quickly went into battle, it was kind of close, but Jerez was going easy.
Finally he unarmed Valerie and got her to the ground.

He gave a quick nod, "Very good. I guess that's done. Alright Apollo kids, back to your cabins! Valerie, Jerez meet me at my cabin." And he jogs off.

Nico walked up to some Apollo campers and challenged them to some friendly sword fighting, A camper called Matthew said " be my guest." Nico growled then took out his sword and slashed at Matthew , Matthew dodged it and returned a thrust. Nico twisted it and Matthew's sword clattered to the ground. Nico's sword shadowdoom was inches away from Matthew's throat, Nico said" Never mess with children of Hades"
