Cody woke up in the Hecate cabin. Well...not exactly woke up..he couldn't get even a wink of sleep. If he did sleep, nightmares came. They were about his family. His dad, his 'new' step-mom, and his step-brother. Sure, when he first found out he was a demigod, his dad's girlfriend was a monster. When he finally killed it, a new girlfriend showed up, Lauren. She wasn't a monster. After a couple years, his dad proposed and they were married. Cody found this out when he went to visit his dad. Why would he tell him about his new mother? He didn't care about Cody.
Cody's new step-brother was...different. His name was Shiloh Pearson. He made weird things happen.
Cody finally got the courage to dig out his cell phone. Quickly, he turned it on and sent his dad a text.

Lauren finally told me and wolves came and got him-bout a year ago. Never found out who his father is.
