"Ah, an air god I believe. I am daughter of Hecate." Ivy replied.

"Goddess of magic," Rafaeru noted. He thought about how she had been spying on some of the campers. One of them in particular... "I...I noticed...that you were checking on one half-blood in...par-ti-cu-lar." He really had trouble with long words like that.

"Yes, so?" Ivy didn't go into further details. She may have just sort of joined up with Rafael, but she didn't fully trust him yet. No, he'd have to prove himself before she did.

Star was seen from a distance laughing at Peter's struggle to shoot an simple arrow, at one point she started to demonstrate.

Apparently, she didn't trust him, and therefore wouldn't answer the following request straight. "I want...to know why."

"Rafael, it's nothing personal, but I don't trust people easily. You can't in my line of work. If I think you really are on my side, perhaps I'll tell you. But not until."

Figures, but...how did she know his name? Weird, they hadn't actually traded names... Well, there's no need to break the fourth wall. That aside, there would be no way to work together without earning eachother's trust. "Is...there any way I can...prove it?" Rafaeru asked.

"We'll just start working." She glanced over at Star. "Come on, I'll show you the hideout." Her shadow horse appeared, and she hopped on, gesturing for him to get on behind her.

The hideout? She's already showing him her hideout? A little dangerous compared to telling him why she's following that other girl, but no reason to complain. I'll just be pretending they told eachother their names. Ivy gestured for him to mount the shadow horse.
"No thanks," he said. He started hovering up to her level, ready to take off as soon as she did. "I prefer...another mode of..." Great. Another hard word. "...trans-por-ta-tion.

She shrugged. "Fine. And I'm not showing you my main hideout. I'm not that stupid. It's just a small one, no big deal if I lose it." She said, and took off.

And that explains why she was willing to show him.
He followed after her through the air.
