Ethan tilted his head from side to side, pondering. It did seem that was true. He was a son of Odin, and he was on the High Council. "It seems you're right, but most of the time it's forced upon." Children of powerful gods already know their fate. Being sniffed out by monsters, becoming leaders and war heroes. It was like their schedule was already printed our for them. "But, I have a feeling that's not it with this one."

The young demigod looked toward Ethan slightly then looked back up at the sky, "What do you mean by that?" He closed his eyes and reflected for a moment before saying, "You don't think that Greek actually had to work to become a leader. He's a child of Poseidon. He was born with power."

Ethan sighed, and shook his head. "I'm not one to judge others on their pasts, I frankly don't know what he did, but that doesn't change my trust toward him."

Xan gave a frown and waited until he finished to speak, "On another subject. We need to tell Vivian how the Council works before she thinks she can do anything without our consent."

Ethan nodded. "We can talk to her tomorrow morning a breakfast. Until then-good night." He turned on his heel, and left for his cabin.
